Welded Gabion

Welded Gabion uses high-quality low-carbon steel wire, which is formed by automatic, precise and accurate mechanical equipment after welding according to BS1052:1986. There are many kinds of surface treatment: electro galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, plastic coated, or Galvan. Passivation, plastic treatment. Welded Gabion is used in a wide range of applications, mainly for park landscapes, exterior walls, and outsourcing of business buildings.

Welded Gabion construction insures that each point of contact in the grid pattern is welded to form a rigid connection, making this type of gabion material important in achieving a flat, sharp appearance. The added stiffness provided by welded wire mesh and corner stiffeners offers greater resistance to bulging and also makes rock filling less cumbersome.

The wire used to manufacture double twisted gabion wire mesh is soft annealed, mild steel wire provided with heavy zinc coating as per EN 10244/ASTM A 641 to prevent corrosion. In case of use in aggressive environments, it is further extruded with 0.5mm thick PVC Coating.
